Hi guys, I need some help with an exercise in the Book
Hi. Hoping for a bit of help on one of the exercises on chapter 7. The final part of the roundTrip exercise
Here's my solution -- https://lpaste.net/7608552277309128704
unsure how to specify that read should be treated as an instance of b
It works if I specify a concrete type such as Double
hmmm, maybe I have misunderstood the exercise, and it's the calling code that needs to use :: Double
any examples of testing your api endpoints?
@tell smwhit you shouldn't need to specify, type inference should handle it for you. the actual bug in your code is that ther eis an extra argument for some reason
Consider it noted.
Today I opened up my Haskell site allowing people to play boardgames realtime. Thanks to all who have helped me go from zero to fair in Haskell. Ive added a separate credits section mentioning some people here that has helped me a great deal (About -> Credits). If you dont want your nick in there, feel free to say so. Thanks again for all the help and patience!
