03:34 <jeffreylevesque> I'm implementing - https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppetlabs-mongodb
03:34 <jeffreylevesque> during my build / provisioning, I'm getting "==> aristotle: Error: Evaluation Error: Error while evaluating a Function Call, 1 is not a string. It looks to be a Fixnum at /tmp/vagrant-puppet/modules-f07217ab419cc50c879fbe11d04e38c8/mongodb/manifests/server/config.pp:88:7 on node aristotle.mongodb.com"
03:34 <jeffreylevesque> i was wondering if someone could provide me some direction / guidance
03:35 <jeffreylevesque> i've never used mongodb. but, i hope to get it working
03:35 <jeffreylevesque> my issue is getting way longer than it should - https://github.com/jeff1evesque/machine-learning/issues/2924

06:34 <KekSi> i'm running 3 instances against a replica set with 2 members and a standalone instance (1:1 each)
06:34 <KekSi> somehow the one supposed to connect to the primary in the replica set fails to connect

10:37 <dvass> Hey, when using aggregate it seems to lose my 'sort' function
10:37 <dvass> I'm using aggregate in order to filter an array field
10:37 <dvass> then I'm trying to filter the documents by the first item in the field array
10:37 <dvass> but when I use aggregate instead of find it seems to lose that sort

15:45 <eilgin> In an aggregation query, in a "$match" operator, how can i reference a variable in a regex ?
15:45 <Derick> eilgin: what do you mean with "variable in a regex" ? which language?
15:46 <eilgin> it seems that referencing the variable *only* works, e.g. "$$myField" (https://docs.mongodb.com/v3.2/reference/aggregation-variables/)

15:47 <eilgin> but inside a regex, e.g., new RegExp("$$myField"), it doesn't

15:53 <Muchoz> I've got a list of strings that I want to find the best matches of. But when inputting them in a search function together, I'm not getting any results. When inputting them together, I do get the results I want, but separately of course. The problem seems to be the hyphens, but I tried every other possibility like $or and escaping them, but I couldn't get any results to return. $search: "\"something-somethingelse00\" \"something-somethingelse01\""
15:53 <Muchoz> If I remove the quoted double quotes, I'm getting every document :/
15:54 <Muchoz> How do I make a search for literally any kind of strings and it has to match any of them?
15:54 <Muchoz> Text indexes have been created btw.
