16:01 <fdushin_> So, I have been having an issue with a source install of Riak on a freshly built OS X (Sierra) with the latest Xcode. The erlang_js_drv.so is crashing with an abort signal when the driver is created, which causes a SIG_ABORT and nothing in the way of logs.
16:01 <fdushin_> This started on fresh iron, but I was able to reproduce on a virtual machine (OS X Sierra installed from recovery partition on VMWare Fusion)
16:03 <fdushin_> I have not figured out a solution, other than a hack^H^H^H workaround, which amounts to copying a known-working version of erlang_js_drv.so
16:04 <fdushin_> If anyone else is interested in researching or figuring this out, let me know. I have to move on to other things, but I consider riak "broken" on the latest version of OS X. (I could be wrong, but given I could reproduce on a VM, seems like others might hit is as well). Binary images seem fine, FWIW.
16:06 <fdushin_> (Or at least source builds of riak broken... etc
16:11 <russelldb> fdushin_: rip out the js stuff altogether would a workaround ;)
16:12 <fdushin_> +1
