[13sequel] 15jeremyevans commented on issue #1310: If you need to use the named_timezones extension, use the mysql adapter instead of mysql2 adapter. The named_timezones extension documents that it only works on certain adapters, and the mysql2 adapter is not listed. If you want the mysql2 adapter to support named_timezones, you'll have to get the mysql2 driver maintainers to add support for custom type conversions. 02https://git.io/vDdIq

I followed the instructions for Rails5 tests, and then Sequel fixture depencies.. but am not too familiar with testing jobs... any help or pointers to good examples most appreciated.
nevermind... thanks... I figured it out...
Hi. Is there a way to pass in a byte string in place of '?' for a raw, hard-written query?
In particular, I need it to be a bytea in postgres.
orion: DB['SELECT ?', Sequel.blob(string)]
jeremyevans: Thank you. "Sequel.blob" was what I needed.
