06:08 <PCatinean> hello everyone. I'm happy to see there are so many people on travis chan :))
06:10 <PCatinean> I'm having issues with PR's from a certain user do not have tests starting at all
06:15 <PCatinean> I see this in requests: abuse detected: known offender (request looked fishy)
06:35 <PCatinean> hello, anyone

06:46 <lauri> Hi, I hope there are some relevant folks here: I am trying to measure code coverage in a Python program that makes use of os.fork(), but the code in the child processes never gets measured. I've skimmed through all the coverage.py docs and googled the issue, but I still can't seem to nail the issue. Ideas anyone?
06:47 <lauri> As I understood the .xml report gets written when the process stops. I also tried to insert SIGHUP calls in the main program to force the child processes to terminate gracefully but still nothing :/

08:02 <lauri> Alrighty SIHGUP wasn't enough, process still stopped abruptly. I had to register sys.exit to SIGHUP handler inside Python program. Now it works :)

11:55 <* PCatinean> wonders if anyone is reading the chan
11:55 <PCatinean> 211 people none talking :))
11:55 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: people normal react to questions
11:56 <PCatinean> I asked twice haha
11:56 <PCatinean> Here goes again: I'm having issues with PR's from a certain user do not have tests starting at all
11:56 <PCatinean> I see this in requests: abuse detected: known offender (request looked fishy)
11:56 <PCatinean> thanks for replying AutomatedTester :)
11:56 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: I didnt see your question in my scrollback
11:56 <AutomatedTester> sorry
11:57 <PCatinean> np, maaybe it was before you joined. Some time has passed
11:58 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/6942
11:58 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: looks like they need to investigate it
11:59 <AutomatedTester> p.s. don't search for travis-ci abuse detected: known offender on duckduckgo... its comes up with fishy results
11:59 <PCatinean> AutomatedTester, I did get some strange results haha, also emailed them but I have no idea what his could mean
12:00 <PCatinean> I'm not sure I found that thread, if I did I must have passed it since it's too generic
12:00 <PCatinean> Why offer a message that smething is fishy but do not provide a list of at least 2-3 elements that can be fishy :))
12:00 <AutomatedTester> I switched to Google and found it via StackOverflow
12:01 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: probably for the same reason you dont say if the password is wrong and give a generic password or username is wrong
12:01 <PCatinean> hmm, quite possibly, even though I'm the only one who sees this information
12:01 <PCatinean> So I guess, no other workaround until support answers? :(
12:01 <AutomatedTester> yup
12:02 <AutomatedTester> since they are mostly based in Europe it shouldnt be too long I would have thought
12:02 <PCatinean> well at least I have that now. Not sure what I should tell my github contributor that opened 6 PR's and has this error XD
12:02 <PCatinean> Yeah I think it's a german company
12:02 <AutomatedTester> PCatinean: nothing until you get more info
12:02 <PCatinean> well at least I have SOME closure and the email is sent
12:03 <PCatinean> thanks a lot for the support AutomatedTester :D
12:03 <PCatinean> much appreciated
12:03 <AutomatedTester> np
