00:12 <__ddd__> howdy. I'm trying to use vagrant for the first time, with libvirt as provider. I installed vagrant-libvirt plugin, and it said it was successful -- I try `vagrant up --provider=libvirt` and it says "libvirt is not a recognized provider". any ideas?
00:13 <__ddd__> something to do with fog-core-1.44.1 not supporting libvirt?

13:30 <mum0l> HI guys, a short question to you.. I would like to set only 1 static interface on host by default build, but sadly it gives me 2 (1st with DHCP and 2nd with STATIC), how can I prevent seting up the 1st interface (DHCP) and just force usage of 2nd (STATIC)?
13:31 <mum0l> here my Vagrant file: https://pastebin.com/raw/X4YeJeTi
13:31 <mum0l> I tried to use :bridge => "eth0" option which I google somehow, but it still didn't help

14:42 <spox> mum0l: https://www.vagrantup.com/docs
14:46 <mum0l> spox: no. I am reading docs from this site last 3hours, and in example, I can't find explantion for advanced network configuriton..
14:46 <mum0l> Still face the issue that I can;t disable the default adapter, and set only 1 local interface
14:52 tapoxi joined
14:53 Faulkner joined
14:54 <spox> mum0l: so you want there to just be a single net adapter in the guest?
14:54 <spox> (that's not nat)
14:55 <mum0l> spox: yes, I need 1 network interfacet which I can use to connect from my localhost
14:55 <spox> is there a reason you can't have the first interface?
14:55 <mum0l> I can setup the 2nd adapter easly, but disabling the 1st (DHCP) one doesn't work with
14:56 choke joined
14:56 <mum0l> I can have the first adapter only, but I need to configure IP address there, and by default is assigning the ip: 10.0.2.15
14:57 <spox> sorry, my question is: is there a reason you can't have two interfaces?
14:57 <mum0l> As I have multiply vhosts, and I want to test various ansible setup per host, ip addressess needs to be diffrent
14:57 <mum0l> ah.. hmm.. I am a bit pedantic? :)
14:57 <mum0l> so I want to have only adapters which I use
14:58 <spox> i mean, you can bind vhosts to specific ip addresses
14:58 <spox> if you really want to override the configuration of the first adapter, you can. vagrant just might not work as you expect it to
14:59 <mum0l> ahh so this is not recommedned to set static ip on eth0?
14:59 <spox> vagrant uses eth0 to forward ports via localhost and uses that for making ssh connections into the guest
15:00 <mum0l> ok, I see...
15:00 <spox> (as well as any other configured port forwards not set for other networks)
15:00 <spox> you _can_ override the first adapter, you just have to understand that doing so may cause other unexpected issues
15:00 <mum0l> so my last question.. is there a possiblity to setup hosts like that, I can simply ?ssh IP.ADDR? instead of ?vagrant ssh name"?
15:01 <mum0l> ok I will leave the 1st adapter as it is for now than, thanks!
15:01 <spox> config.vm.network 'public_network', adapter: 1, type: 'static', address: '192.0...', bridge: 'local adapter name'
15:02 <spox> but you'll need to modify ssh configs to allow that to continue to work and maybe some other stuff
15:02 <mum0l> thx let me try that
